Publisher Podium approached us to come up with a visual concept that supports the book as a quest into the art world.

Approach

With the enormous amount of visual candy available anytime, anyplace through the phone in your hand, we decided to emphasize the idea of the book as an artifact of discovery and exploration. Instead of using the actual artworks, we portrayed each work as a pixelated yet recognizable composition, along with a Google prompt, to encourage readers to discover everything there is to know about the artwork and its creator.
