Background

Following the success of his first cookbook ‘Lekker Fred’, Freddy Tratlehner (aka Vjeze Fur, member of the notorious avantgarde hip hop formation De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig) conceived its successor ‘Lekker Fred in het land’.

Objective

The concept of the cookbook is promising: Freddy decided to go on an expedition to the good ol’ home country, in an ultimate search of some of the most exquisite dishes out there. It resulted in a dazzling collection of recipes. Freddy’s wife and photographer Elsa Jo is yet again the star of the publication, with mind-boggling images of both field trips and recipes. We made a fresh, classic and clean typographic design for the inside grid.

The 192 page cookbook is printed on semi matte paper and the cover is enriched with green foil to give the book it’s well-deserved elegancy.
