As classical music is typically entertainment for the more senior individuals within society, one can imagine that the number of members is decreasing slowly. Main objective of Concertvrienden is to gain interest for classical music with younger target groups to preserve Dutch classical music culture for future generations. We were asked to develop a fresh brand identity that would appeal to a wide audience.

We based our graphic language on the Concertgebouw itself, taking the notable tympan façade that marks the buildings entry as a starting point for a triangular grid. The new colour palette, containing bright modern colours as well as elegant ones, provides the identity with a fresh yet distinguished character.
